LocWorldWide will continue to play it safe and stay virtual for its 44th iteration on June 8-10, 2021, but any physical distance will be more than compensated for by the trifecta of engaging personalities who will be representing Argos Multilingual there.
On Wednesday, June 9, our VP Solutions Engineering Wojciech Froelich will be part of a panel entitled, “The Black Box Doesn’t Talk – The Current State of Innovation in the Industry.” The panel will focus on the difference between the “black box” solutions of the past and how they compare with the solutions demanded by today’s more educated and informed consumers.
Later that same day, Localization Consultant Kathleen Bostick will moderate the panel discussion, “Up Close and Personal: A Conversation with Woman Leaders – Part II.” Siobhan Hanna of TELUS International AI, Anna Schlegel of Procore Technologies, and Nataly Kelly of HubSpot, Inc. will share some helpful tips about personal brand building, discuss their personal challenges and career paths, and go into detail about what the future holds for female leaders. There will also be questions about the challenges of raising kids while climbing the corporate ladder, navigating the politics of corporations, and knowing when it’s time to change careers.
On Thursday, June 10, our Founder and Chairman Kimon Fountoukidis will join Mariëtte Pepping of ServiceNow to present on the topic of “Building a Case for Centralizing Marketing Localization.” Attendees can expect a case study where Kimon and Mariëtte walk through business plan highlights and workflows as well as a chance to learn the pros and cons of a centralized marketing localization approach vs. a decentralized approach.
Even if the event is staying in the virtual realm for the time being, you can still expect the same great opportunities to network, connect, and talk shop that you’ve come to expect from LocWorldWide. Don’t miss out!
We’re looking forward to seeing you soon!
