#LocWorld35 – Argos Multilingual at LocWorld Silicon Valley 2017

Argos Multilingual is heading to the 35th LocWorld event, taking place in the Silicon Valley from Nov 1-3. At the event we will be represented by our Founder and President, Kimon Fountoukidis, as well as our VPs of Global Sales, Victoria Killmar and Yves Lang.

We are very excited to be part of this great event as not only will we be exhibiting, but we will also be presenting at two of the sessions.

Kimon Fountoukidis, will be taking part in the MicroTalks on the first day of the main conference at 1.30pm focusing on a topic close to home; mergers and acquisitions in the translation industry. Just recently we announced our second acquisition of enterprise language service provider, ENLASO. Kimon expressed his enthusiasm about this acquisition stating, “I am ecstatic about this acquisition. The ENLASO team will be a great addition to the Argos family. Our clients will also appreciate having access to a larger team of talented localization professionals in the US while ENLASO clients will benefit from having Argos’ European presence and support.”

Victoria Killmar, the newest member to the Argos team will also be at LocWorld. You will be able to catch her at the Argos Multilingual stand with the rest of the team. Victoria expressed her excitement in joining the Argos team in an article by Slator back in July, “I joined a team of engaged, energized, and tenured employees who are truly invested in the success and growth of the company. I’m excited to contribute to their continued growth with my new role.”

Yves Lang, a LocWorld Content Committee member and Senior VP of Global Sales, will also be at the event, hosting some sessions and helping support the various networking activities. “This is my first LocWorld conference since Argos Multilingual acquired ENLASO, and I am thrilled about this move, as it paves the way for many new opportunities. The Argos team has a wealth of knowledge beyond comparison and I am very excited about our increased focus on life sciences.”
