We process your personal data in accordance with the provisions of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 – and the Polish Data Protection Act of May 10, 2018 (Ustawa o ochronie danych osobowych). The data controller of your personal data is Argos Multilingual sp. z o.o., based in Kraków, Poland. Although the contractual party on the Argos side is Argos Multilingual, Inc., a Colorado corporation, with offices at 1680 38th Street, STE 120, Boulder CO 80301, USA, Argos Multilingual sp. z o.o. is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.

Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed to evaluate your application, assess your qualifications, conduct interviews, and manage the recruitment process. Recipients of your data

Argos Multilingual may share personal data with their divisions located in third party countries. Our divisions use the same systems and uphold the same safeguards. These transfers comply with GDPR requirements, ensuring appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or adequacy decisions where applicable.

Your rights

You have the right to review, edit or remove, object to processing, your Personal Data from any of the collection lists, by contacting us on dataprivacy@argosmultilingual.com. At any time, you feel we have breached the rights set out by the European Commission’s GDPR, please contact your local supervisory body.

Legal basis – recruitment

The processing of your personal data in the recruitment process is lawful under Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. This means we process your data to evaluate your application, assess your qualifications, and conduct interviews as part of the steps leading to potential employment. Without this processing, we would not be able to proceed with your application or consider you for the role.

Automated profiling

Argos Multilingual does not make use of automated profiling and processing.

Data Retention period

Personal data following the successful recruitment process is stored for 5 years after the last project is completed, based on our legitimate interest in maintaining records for potential disputes. If you provide consent, we will retain your data for up to 2 years to inform you of future job opportunities.

Children’s Personal Data

Argos Multilingual does not knowingly collect or process personal data from individuals under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected such data without parental consent, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
