Argos meets stricter assessment ratings

EcoVadis, a globally recognized provider of business sustainability ratings, recently raised the bar for its assessments by implementing percentile-based rankings and tightening the criteria for medal eligibility. Companies are now required to meet higher standards across all evaluated areas, including environmental impact, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. “Over the last year Argos has implemented several programs to continuously improve our sustainability, including recycling 100% of our electronic waste, adding motion sensors in our offices to lower electricity use, and working closely with our waste management suppliers,” said Young. “We also held a series of training sessions with our internal employees and our external suppliers to raise awareness and ensure compliance.”
