Argos Multilingual Joins the Translation Automation User Society, TAUS

Argos Multilingual, a global language solutions provider, recently joined TAUS, the Translation Automation User Society. TAUS is a great platform for all translation companies and translation technology service providers to share experiences and knowledge on translation technology, in particularly machine translation, as well as the quality evaluation methods and metrics used in our industry. This open-forum that TAUS has implemented allows for experts in our industry to provide valuable insight into the ever-changing landscape of the translation and localization industry. In addition, TAUS provides the following services to all its members:

• Quality Dashboard: to enable organizations to measure their quality output against the industry benchmark
• Academy: post-editing and quality management courses
• Data Cloud: a repository of industry data

For Argos, our journey with TAUS starts with our Senior VP of Global Language Solutions, Nadege Young attending the upcoming DQF Manufacturing Industries Workshop in Mannheim, Germany. The workshop will focus on establishing a User Group that will address the quality evaluation challenges faced by industrial manufacturers and translation companies. The aim of this workshop is to align these differences and standardize quality evaluation in the industrial manufacturing industry. As a translation company that many industrial manufacturers turn to for translation services, this workshop will provide us with valuable information on how we can better our partnerships with industrial manufacturing companies and provide them with the best service possible.
