Argos helped our client by standardizing and centralizing their processes and workflows across its’ global offices, increasing efficiency, consistency and reducing translation costs.
Before partnering with Argos, each local office had their own set of approved translation memories and terminology. This created inconsistencies across translated materials and at times identical projects were being initiated in different offices, which proved to be a costly exercise for our client. Argos was able to centralize our client’s TMs, glossaries and terminology, ensuring that each office had access and implemented these reference materials for each new project. The pool of content gathered enabled local offices to reuse and utilize parts of past projects for newer ones creating consistency and reducing translation costs.
Argos also reduced the amount of time spent on formatting materials for print, by creating guidelines and instructions which were agreed upon by the client and centralized across all their global offices.
